Ugh, what a mess outside. Luckily we have about 10 inches of snow, so hopefully we’ll have some left after this warm up. It is nice for it to be only -3C (26.6F) instead of the -24C (-11F) it was yesterday. We were greeters at the door at church yesterday so lets hope we don’t come down with a cold. That’s what happened every time last year.
Ella and I are heading out for a skate this morning. It was so cold on Friday she decided we should stay home. I also want to swing by Fabricland and find some jumper material. I need a few more dresses before our surprise in February.

What surprise?
Sounds suspiciously like a vacation away to me!!!!
Hope you find something nice at Fabricland. I REALLY wanted to pop in there today to get more blue flannels for the quilt but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen after all, sigh……..
My dear sweet sister and BIL are taking Ella and I (and Grandma) to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. Daddy has to stay home to mind things, unfortunately. It’ll be the trip of a lifetime for Ella. Uncle Stefan has been wanting to take Ella for a couple years, but I now think she’s old enough.
Yeah, not so much on sale at Fabricland. I got some suiting for half-price. I was hoping regular cotton was on sale, but just the regular 25% for being a member. Not worth risking the freezing rain (which it’s doing now). Stay home and stay warm Karen.
We did end up going into town late afternoon. FL has an AMAZING selection of flannels right now.
My niece went to Great Wolf Lodge with her class last year and LOVED it. It really looks like a great family vacation destination.
What a wonderful trip that will be for Ella and you too!
Too bad Colin can’t go with you but that is the way farm life goes sometimes.
