Board meeting this afternoon, following the potluck. I’ve made Parmesan garlic pull buns and chocolate cake. They are variations of usual recipes, I’ll let you know how they turn out. Not too much planned for the week. I’m going to finish the custom sewing I have on the go and then hopefully finish a dress for me too. I have to get started on some for Ella. Her dresses have all turned into minis.

Hi Paula! Lovely little blog you’ve got here. I have to say that I’m inspired by your weekly meal plans…what a great way to simplify life and meal planning, (I’m sure it’s also good as a cost saving measure). I’ve really got to get it together and do that myself. I’m putting my hopes in September…that it will be my month of organizing, bread baking, and meal planning!

Hi Maureen
Welcome! I stopped by your blog. It’s beautiful, makes me feel inferior 🙂
I don’t know how I would shop if I didn’t meal plan. I try to stick to my list, unless there is an unadvertised special that I just can’t pass up. Some people make a certain number of weeks of menu and then cycle through. I couldn’t do that since we try to eat the meat that’s in the freezer and what’s on sale.
I hope to be more organized in September too. I got the pre-school info from Oak Meadow for Ella and plan to start some more structured school work with her. Nothing too much, I really don’t think little people need so much school. What curriculum do you use with Ruby?
