Ok, I have Internet at the moment, so I thought I would post a quick Farm Girl Friday picture.
Here’s our farm girl out in Daddy’s watermelon patch. I’m not sure how kneel beside Daddy’s watermelon turned into sit on the watermelon. But it gives you the idea.
Ella had a girlfriend over the other day and they had a great time crafting. To be honest these leaves and things are from last year, but the leaves are starting to turn colour and fall around here too. We lost a bunch of leaves in the crazy wind on Sunday (leftover Irene). Ella and Kristin had so much fun. Too bad Kristin has to go back to school next week. We’ll have to schedule some more play dates.
That watermelon is huge! How fun. It must be wonderful to have produce in your backyard. I am definitely trying to add more fruits and veggies to our diet. I was inspired after reading this Mom’s Guide to Caring for Little Teeth (http://www.1dental.com/moms-guide/). It’s got great tips on how to avoid cavities and develop healthy habits for all ages.
I love Ella’s dress/leggings combo- we do that a lot- even though we are city folk 😦
and the Baby Surprise jacket! make it in 3T and I will buy it from you! (I’m not advanced to do something like that)
That’s the last of her 18-month size dresses 🙂 It’s a little short but still lots of wear for play. Ella is finally starting to grow across the shoulder so I need to get sewing. Leggings just make playing easier, I like to wear them on breezy days too. No modesty worries.
I’ll have to see what I can do about the BSJ. It shouldn’t be too hard to make it a bit bigger.
So cute! I love the photo below of Ella making leaf art! Reminds me of our early crafty homeschooling days!
Thanks for sharing your little farmgirl with us!
Deb
Those watermelons are amazing! And Ella is having so much fun. Wish we could have a play date!
Ella loves to see the pictures of Sophia’s new home. What great memories she will have.
Love seeing pictures of Farmgirl Ella!
P.S. That is one BIG watermelon and the two beside it are coming right along! 🙂
Now he just has to figure out when they are ripe 🙂
Such a cute photo of Ella in the watermelon patch! Those are nice looking melons. My melons seem to have a complete flop this year….
I love Autumn creations… even if it’s not quite Autumn yet. And look at those watermelons. Beautiful!!
Blessings, Debbie
That’s adorable with her sitting on the watermelon! 🙂
