Joining Ginny this week for the Yarn Along. Not too much progress on my tie shawl. Things have been busy and just haven’t had much knitting time. Especially since Knit Night is for present knitting right now.
I treated us to a couple new books. Ella’s favourite Fancy Nancy has a new Thanksgiving book. And Momma got Knitivity. I’ve been looking at this one for a while. And no, I likely won’t even try to make it for this Christmas. Well… maybe just a couple of characters this year 🙂 Now I have to find some suitable sheep-type wool in DK.
At Home With Us 
I just unraveled Dearest old sweater. It was a zipper cardigan, and it stretched where the zipper had been. To be honest he stretched the whole thing. It has taken me two nights to unravel and I am ready to knit something else with it. Thinking of a wrap shawl since you posted about them. See you are a bad influence on me!!!! I like you just for that reason.

It’s a cute story and I like that it’s not obviously American. There’s no comments about Christmas around the corner or anything. It works for us Canadians too. We love Fancy Nancy!
