Wow, our 5ooth post!
I really don’t have much of a post today, but I didn’t want this event to go unnoticed 🙂 So here’s a few pictures from the past to share.
This Colin’s Grandma and Grandpa, Carl and Eileen Fletcher. There’s no mistaking the Fletcher bloodline. In fact, when I first found this picture I thought it was Colin’s Dad. They had a mixed farm and Grandpa won many awards for his breeding of dairy cows.
And of course, this is the reason we do what we do and struggle on. Our funny girl, Miss Ella.
So now for the giveaway!!
We’re giving away a pair of hand knit, felted alpaca mittens. These are so soft and warm. They are a natural colour and sized for ladies. The alpacas are raised just down the highway. To enter, just leave a comment. The winner will be drawn at random at 9am on January 24th.
Ella’s smile cracked me up. Hopefully her Samoan treasure made it to you. Hugs from Utah!

Love the old photo and Miss Ella is an excellent reason to keep on keeping on! 🙂
Sure you farm for Ella, also because it is in Colin’s blood! Sorry, once you are a farmer its hard to be anything else. Cute picture of Ella. Hows the snow your way?
She is so adorable. Love all your crafts. Wish I could teach myself to knit.
those mitts look so soft and cosy! I don’t know how to knit, so I always admire those who can.
