Wow, everything is growing like crazy here on the Farm. Here are a few things:
The pumpkin/squash field. It’s on black plastic -the best thing ever.
Funky heirloom pumpkin/squash.
A weird cross that turned up this year in the volunteers.
Cinderella pumpkins.
Ghost pumpkins.
A trombochino squash and jaharadale pumpkin. The jaharadale will be slate blue and look like marble when it’s ready.
And finally, some Yugoslavian fingers squash.
Oh yeah, how could I forget -our 2 and 3 POUND tomatoes!
those are big tomatoes, none of mine are ready yet.

Wow! Such a difference from last year!
My squash are coming along, just ate my first zucchini, no greenhouse to help start. Maybe I should try the black plastic in my garden next year?
My tomatoes aren’t ripe yet, but from what I can see, I will not have any as huge as yours. Don’t you love it when one slice of tomato covers a whole slice of bread?
Colin starts his tomato seeds in March 🙂
So much better than last year. You should definitely use black plastic Debbie. We just get it off the roll at Home Hardware.
Wonderful pictures! 🙂 I love stuff growing, the harvest is the best part! We used to have deer eat our cherry tomatoes all the time, you could just look out and see them on our porch lol! (We used Earth boxes back home).
