My girl is very Happy that we’ve got the screen house up now. Any day now the mosquitoes will be out and looking for blood. With 60 acres of swamp along the river we have more than our fair share of the little blood suckers.

My Funny girl making us an afternoon ‘snack’.
The Real is we got Ella’s blood work results yesterday. She is allergic to dairy, eggs, citrus and possibly beef. Great, what are we supposed to eat now?? At least wheat was OK. Trying to make my grocery list and I can’t think of a thing for lunches. Seems most of our lunches are cheese or egg based.
that does indeed suck with all those allergies. How about soup for lunch or veggies/salad & dips?
Soup will work once it’s cold again. I can’t see any of us (let alone hard working Colin) wanting soup when it’s 90.
This is where this new diet gets hard. If it’s not corn on the cob or carrots (raw) Ella doesn’t eat veggies. 🙂 It’s something we’re working on.
I love that screen house! Mosquitoes are one of my least favorites parts about Summer!
Wow, that’s a difficult list of allergies to work around – good luck!!
oh dear. there are some good cookbooks – Ella may need to branch out in what she eats…. hard but possible… Cooking for Isaiah is one (I think also it is GF)… also O She Glows is supposed to be good…. there is a lot of vegan cookbooks for the dairy party and there is a lot of good chicken dishes out there… HUGS hang in there it will get better, with God’s help!
