If Farm Girl Friday still existed, I’d save these for tomorrow. But since there isn’t, might as well show you today.
The silver poplar (remember) was rubbing on the combine, so what’s a farmer to do:
Since there are no power lines nearby, you grab the chain saw and climb on top of the combine!
At least it’s a better idea than standing in the bucket of the front end loader, which was the other suggestion.
OH geeze be careful..reminds me of the time we were painting our lodge which was very tall …at our resort in Ely,. Minnesota…I was eighteen and wanted to help so took my bucket..climbed up the ladder in back that dad had to the roof..and walked to the peak..and laid own..and painted that top corner.. eeeeek stupid things to get love huh
NEVER would I do that again or want to see ANYONE do it.. God was taking care of me…Thankful no power lines there..amen..have a fun weekend..trying to get book to you soon.
