Cashmere Moebius
Materials: 3 skiens Cashmere by Knit-Wise (197 m/215 yd)
Size: 11 inches X 62 inches -unblocked measurements
Needles: 3.5 mm (US 4)
Gauge: I’m sorry I forgot to do a gauge, I just used the needle size that looked right with the wool
This pattern uses a traditional Russian lace edging and traditional Brittish cat’s paws. Both patterns are very easy to memorize. With edging, just count the yarn overs. There are 5 “holes” up and 5 “holes” down.
Instructions:
Using a provisional cast on, cast on 62 sts. Start on the right side of the chart with row one. 2nd and every alternate row is a knit row. Follow chart until scarf is 62 inches or as long as required. When finished, don’t cast off. Bring ends together to form a circle, then twist one end and graft together -this forms the moebius and once grated together the scarf now has only one edge.
