I have the worst case of buyers remorse. But not from something I bought but something I wish I had. At the Knitters’ Frolic there was a booth set up by a business over in Haliburton (almost neighbours) called Indigo Dragonfly. I don’t know how I managed to leave this yarn behind. I haven’t stopped thinking of it since. It’s called Rock Paper Lizard Sock and the colour was Tardis!!! I must have been high on yarn fumes 🙂 I just might have to give in and order me some, maybe Colin can call it my birthday present -hint, hint
Here is the other yarn I forgot to show you this morning:
These are called merino minis, she designed them for all the ladies that are making a the Beekeeper’s Quilt. Show special was buy 10 and get 2 free, so Auntie B and I picked through to match up what I hope is enough to make 4 Barbie outfits. Because, apparently, Barbie only has dressy clothes and needs some ‘going out’ outfits. Luckily there are a lot of those on Ravelry.
Momma’s first bouquet of spring!
Lovely yarn! I’ve done that before and later kick myself for not buying the yarn I left behind.
I wish I had, had more money last week at the Creativ Festival so I could have bought more material; so I too so know how you feel.

I was thinking you would have had a great time on Friday 🙂
I always feel a bit guilty picking daffodils and bringing them inside when they are the first ” real” glimpse of colour outside as well- but OH MY they do brighten up the kitchen and my mood- just can’t resist.
Grandma and I tend to let Ella pick whatever flowers she wants because we love these little bouquets she makes. I just remind her the stems have to be long enough or the flower gets wasted. I can’t wait to bring in lily of the valley and lilacs.
Wow, has it ever warmed up eh? It is 25 here in Peterborough right now. I can’t get over how many flowers are blooming here. Everything is so green. You would think we were half way across the country compared to the brown spring drab of back home.
That’s because you haven’t been home yet! It’s 25 up here too and I have flowers blooming all over the place. The grass is green. Doesn’t quite need cut yet.
I love your bouquet from Ella! 🙂
